Job summary

Qualifications

• 10–13 years of relevant work experience.
• BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Lean / 6 Sigma certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, machinery and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Effective communication with shopfloor employees and cross-functional departments.
• 5 years of experience in engineering industries preferred; knowledge on carbide tool manufacturing process.
• Knowledge on production planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge on SAP.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production workers on the manufacturing floor and ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demand and targets.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications and maintain safety protocols.
• Allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to optimize output.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance to resolve issues.
• Lead efforts to reduce costs through lean and Six Sigma programs and drive audits (ISO, QMS).
• Develop the team, maintain shopfloor discipline, and secure timely approvals from management.
