Qualifications

• 3–7 years in manufacturing with 1–3 years in a leadership role.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP software, inventory control, and manufacturing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shop-floor workflows and assign tasks.
• Schedule worker shifts and daily production targets.
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and verify PPE usage.
• Inspect products, enforce quality metrics, and address defects.
• Lead and train assembly workers; handle disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to handle breakdowns and schedule preventative repairs.
• Monitor raw material levels to prevent delays or shortages.
• Document daily output, track KPIs, and submit shift summaries.
• Apply lean manufacturing methods like 5S or Six Sigma to reduce floor waste.
