Job summary

Stored Energy Systems, LLC in Longmont, CO, is hiring a full-time Hourly S2 Exper Para-Prof to support lean manufacturing initiatives and improve production efficiency.

You will build ergonomic workstations, collaborate with engineering and production teams, and collect data to identify bottlenecks. The role includes involvement in continuous improvement and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools: Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Kaizen workshops focused on process optimization, waste elimination, and operational efficiency.
• Build and commission ergonomic and efficient production workstations using lean principles.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement improvements that support standardized work and reduce waste.
• Work with production teams to collect data and identify operational problems and bottlenecks leveraging Lean tools.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to reduce cycle time, increase throughput, and improve quality.
• Ensure that successful improvements are documented, standardized, and sustained across production lines.
• Collaborate with frontline workers to participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas for workstation and process enhancements.
• Work closely with engineering, maintenance, safety, and quality teams to ensure workstation designs meet operational and compliance requirements.
