Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Process Technician in Madison, AL for a contract-to-hire role focused on manufacturing processes for powersports components. You will work with quality, materials, and engineering teams to document processes, develop visual work instructions, and ensure on-time build schedules.

The role requires hands-on process development, time studies, and training support for production staff, with emphasis on Lean practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing process improvement and documentation.
• Experience leading Kaizen events.
• Familiarity with value stream mapping and line balancing.

Responsibilities

• Document check backs and verify processes with the quality team.
• Create VWIs using 3D CAD to guide production.
• Set up routings and labor standards for new models.
• Support Lean initiatives and line balancing across the line.
• Provide training and technical support to production staff.
• Conduct time studies to optimize workflow.
