Job summary

PADNOS is seeking an in-office Continuous/Process Improvement Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on solving business problems through lean principles, prioritizing improvements in manufacturing and operations, and driving process and system changes across the company.

You will manage projects, establish KPIs, and coach teams to sustain improvements, with dashboards and metrics to communicate progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• 3–5 years in engineering and continuous improvement.
• Experience with conveyance, vision systems, sorting, segregation.
• Must work in-office at Grand Rapids location.

Responsibilities

• Identify and improve manufacturing assets and processes to boost business results.
• Develop KPIs to monitor operational, labor, and financial performance.
• Lead cross-functional team projects using disciplined CI methodologies.
• Create performance metrics and dashboards to track targets.
• Collaborate on selecting new products/systems aligned with strategy.
• Support CI training and culture change across the organization.
