Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Continuous Improvement Support Analyst to drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements on the manufacturing floor. You will partner with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Quality to identify opportunities and support Lean initiatives.

Responsibilities include Kaizen event support, process documentation, and layout updates using AutoCAD, with a focus on waste reduction and throughput gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution; preferred
• 4+ years in continuous improvement or manufacturing; highly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; required
• SAP experience; preferred
• AutoCAD and 3D modeling experience; preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to groups
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑directed, able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to collaborate with and lead cross‑functional teams
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification; preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in manufacturing floor layout updates, line configuration changes, material flow analysis, and documentation
• Support Kaizen events, data collection, standardization efforts, and Lean Six Sigma tool deployment
• Develop, modify, and maintain floor layouts and line configurations using AutoCAD
• Analyze material flow, operator movement, and equipment placement to reduce waste and improve throughput
• Create, document, and implement standard work, work instructions, and visual controls
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
