Job summary

Rocket is a Detroit-based company delivering simple, fast and trusted digital solutions for complex transactions. As Portfolio Manager, you’ll guide stakeholders through the work intake process for a portfolio, document commitments and measure value realization.

You’ll apply Lean portfolio management, develop best practices, drive visibility, and push for data-driven decisions across release trains, with SAFe awareness and coaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, economics, supply chain or significant relevant experience.
• 2 years of repeatable project, operations or similar work with strong organizational and process design skills.
• 1 year of Lean portfolio management experience.
• 1 year of Agile portfolio operations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean portfolio management methodology, standards and governance.
• Develop best practices and tools to drive business outcomes and visibility.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress and changes through written and verbal communication.
• Drive collaboration among stakeholders for timely decision making.
• Promote intake and prioritization processes.
• Define portfolio execution metrics and reporting.
• Seek data/reporting efficiency opportunities and implement automation where possible.
• Educate teams and stakeholders on intake and prioritization processes.
• Understand and promote SAFe best practices.
• Identify Agile coaching opportunities and engage coaches effectively.
• Drive alignment across release trains and business teams to optimize results.
• Set and manage client expectations.
