Job summary

Rocket is seeking a Portfolio Manager to guide the intake and prioritization for a distribution of work across mortgage and tech teams. You will document commitments, analyze results and measure value realization, while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize portfolio outcomes.

Ideal candidates have Lean and Agile portfolio experience, knowledge of SAFe practices, and proficiency with Power BI and Jira. Strong communication skills and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, economics, supply chain or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience managing repeatable projects or operations requiring process design.
• 1 year of Lean portfolio management experience.
• 1 year of Agile portfolio operations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean portfolio management methodology, standards and governance.
• Develop best practices and tools to drive outcomes and visibility.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress through written and verbal updates.
• Drive collaboration among stakeholders for timely decisions.
• Promote intake and prioritization process changes and adoption.
• Define portfolio execution metrics and reporting.
• Identify data and reporting efficiency opportunities and automation.
• Educate teams on portfolio intake and prioritization processes.
• Understand and promote SAFe best practices.
• Identify Agile coaching opportunities and engage coaches effectively.
• Drive alignment across release trains and business teams to optimize results.
• Set and manage client expectations.
