Job summary

Lilly is constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for monoclonal antibodies in Goochland County, Virginia. The Operational Excellence Business Partner will support site OPEX projects, deploying Lean standards and coaching teams to drive execution excellence during startup and beyond.

The role balances execution and coaching, requires 2+ years in a GMP manufacturing setting, and expertise in Lean, RCA, and HPR. Travel is 0–10%, and competitive benefits accompany the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Lean knowledge and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach across shop floor to leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the site agenda through direct project execution.
• Facilitate Lean training and sustainment programs.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Coach teams in Lean tools and systems (daily management, A3, standard work).
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, RCA, FMEA, and HPR.
