Reporting to the Quality and Operational Excellence Senior Manager, the role emphasizes hands‑on experience with SOPs, process maps, and visual management on the production floor in Auburn Hills, MI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s degree in a technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization (Power BI).
• Familiarity with Python, C++ or Java and SQL; Ignition is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, deploying and sustaining standardized processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Document SOPs and process maps.
• Analyze process inefficiencies using Lean methods and develop standard work.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting for improvement projects.
• Develop floor visualizations to help track production metrics.
• Participate in Kaizen events and cross‑functional workshops.
• Support visual management tools and dashboards for performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize opportunities based on data and business impact.
