Job summary

Plant 3 in Michigan is seeking a results‑driven manufacturing leader to own the wrap production value stream, aligning people, processes and technology to deliver safe, compliant, on‑time results. You will drive daily management, strengthen IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 systems, develop people, standardize processes, and lead continuous improvement with 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, and Poka‑Yoke.

Qualifications

• Lean leadership and practical continuous improvement experience.
• Structured root cause analysis using 5 Why.
• APQP depth with successful PPAPs is preferred.
• Clear command of operational metrics and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Staff and schedule effectively; drive cross-training; deliver evaluations and development plans; foster an accountable culture.
• Meet takt and schedule attainment; coordinate inputs from Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain; lead tier meetings and value stream huddles.
• Standardize and improve wrap lines, metal encapsulation, material handling, curing, and finishing; deploy visual controls and error-proofing.
• Apply 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban, TPM, and Poka‑Yoke; solve problems with 5 Why, Fishbone, and A3; remove bottlenecks with Maintenance/Engineering.
• Enforce PPE, LOTO, guarding, chemical handling; conduct safety walks and incident investigations; uphold ISO 14001 practices for waste and hazardous materials.
