Job summary

Addison Group in Houston, TX is seeking an Operations Improvement Manager to lead Lean initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities. This hands-on role requires identifying inefficiencies, developing practical solutions, and driving measurable performance improvements.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to act as an internal change agent and build the Continuous Improvement function from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English — required; a significant portion of ops workforce is Spanish-speaking.
• 5+ years in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing in a production environment.
• Experience driving CI initiatives across manufacturing facilities.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt — required.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of a Lean Management System across multiple locations.
• Develop and execute a multi-year Continuous Improvement strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Drive enterprise-wide Operational Excellence and Lean initiatives.
• Develop standardized Lean processes and best practices across plants.
• Facilitate hands-on Lean training for leaders and staff.
• Coach cross-functional teams to sustain process improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to implement changes.
• Analyze processes, identify root causes, and build practical solutions.
