• Associate's degree in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
• Typically requires three to five years of related mechanical or production experience, including two years in a related lead role.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop employees into problem solvers and improve productivity.
• Plan, monitor and appraise job results to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Coach, counsel and discipline staff to uphold policies and procedures.
• Communicate clear job expectations and supervise production, assembly, and fabrication activities.
• Review schedules, materials and manpower to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Establish and improve operation methods and processes with suggested changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
