Job summary

Geiger is seeking a Manufacturing Work Team Leader (Finance) to guide a dedicated operations team on the shop floor. You will focus on kaizen-driven improvements, coaching staff, and enforcing standardized work to meet takt time and quality goals.

You will lead efforts to achieve 100% on-time delivery, safety, and adherence to ISO quality standards while mentoring employees and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

• Experience identifying issues and making appropriate decisions.
• Proficiency in ISO quality systems and Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Eliminate waste and add value to customers through continuous improvement.
• Lead kaizen activities and develop staff to solve problems.
• Motivate and coach employees, enforce standardized work and accountability.
• Create operations that produce to takt time and customer demand.
• Partner with quality and customer service to ensure zero defects and root-cause issues.
• Provide timely feedback, performance reviews, and discipline when needed.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery and a safe shop floor under 5-S.
