Job summary

Zero Zone, a leading refrigeration display and systems manufacturer in the United States, seeks a detail-oriented Lean Technician to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing.

An essential role under Manufacturing Engineering, you will apply Lean methodologies, lead 5S audits, and facilitate Kaizen events to reduce waste while upholding Quality Assurance standards. Two-plus years in manufacturing and an Associate’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading general business materials and technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Support the promotion of a lean culture across production areas.
• Assist in daily 5S audits in specified production zones.
• Coordinate Kaizen events with teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production Leadership, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Design Engineering to reduce waste.
• Share improvement opportunities with the ZZD System Division to ensure consistency.
• Develop and audit manufacturing methods to maintain quality standards.
• Analyze labor hours vs. standard hours to identify discrepancies and recommend fixes.
