Job summary

Air Techniques is seeking a Production Supervisor in Melville, NY to lead a manufacturing/assembly team and optimize production flow. You will plan workloads, coordinate with Materials Management, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production, union experience, strong organization, and hands-on problem-solving skills to meet daily schedules. This role is on-site at our New York headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience.
• Experience working in a union environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Technical aptitude.
• High School Education, Advanced Education Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in a manufacturing and assembly environment.
• Plan and assign work; implement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate materials with Materials Management.
• Monitor production, quality control, maintenance reports for nonconformities.
• Lead shift performance to meet manufacturing schedule.
• Improve workflow by eliminating stoppages and analyzing delays.
• Ensure safe and healthy work environment.
• Track attendance and address performance.
• Achieve daily production schedule requirements.
