Job summary

RK Industries, LLC is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize all production operations for an assigned project. You will drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, manage schedules and resources, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets.

Will oversee cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and project management to ensure efficient execution and cost control, while advancing RK's safety and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing management operations experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Minimum 2 years of Lean Manufacturing experience is beneficial.
• Proven leadership competencies with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
• Excellent time management skills; operates with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management for an assigned project, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts to achieve measurable improvements on the project.
• Develop and execute project strategy, production schedules, and resource plans.
• Lead, mentor, and grow production team members to build a high-performing workforce.
• Monitor and report key operational KPIs such as safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Oversee manufacturing personnel to ensure alignment, engagement, and retention of talent.
• Promote safety culture and operational excellence aligned with RK values.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiency and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management for seamless execution.
