Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Thorp, WI seeks a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead a skilled team producing premium doors and components. The role blends hands-on leadership with lean manufacturing to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals across every shift.

You’ll drive KPI reviews, coach on lean standards, coordinate resources with production scheduling, partner with quality for documentation, and develop your team through feedback, training, and recognition.

Qualifications

• Proven frontline leadership and exceptional communication.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and integrity.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; exposure to Paycom, Workday, and ERP systems is a plus.
• Analytical problem-solver with HR and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Build a positive, engaged work environment grounded in safety and accountability.
• Own KPI reviews—document misses, root causes, corrective actions, owners, and due dates.
• Maintain integrity of Tier Board data and visual management systems.
• Conduct regular lean process audits; reinforce standards and coach to sustainment.
• Continuously improve production methods to reduce scrap and boost productivity.
• Ensure clear, consistent communication across all levels of the process team.
