Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager (Level K) to lead the 787 Stability & Performance Team. This role will drive strategic standards across the BCA production system, enabling excellence in manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will partner cross-functionally to support programs, delivery centers, and fabrication, while promoting accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. Shift: 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functionalproject/program management, or formal manager experience)
• 3+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
• 3+ years of experience leading stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions
• Experience using MS Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Ability to work any shift based on needs of the operation

Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manages, develops and motivates employees
• Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers
• Analyzes and interprets data
• Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
• Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
