Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Production Manager in Bolingbrook, IL to lead a designated value stream and drive Lean manufacturing excellence.

You will oversee a workforce of about 90, ensuring on-time delivery, quality and cost targets while coordinating with Supply Chain, QA and Planning. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, a solid Lean/Six Sigma background, and the ability to mentor teams in a build-to-order environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in low volume/high mix engineered build-to-order environments.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, 5P knowledge and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated value stream to meet schedules and improve throughput.
• Direct a manufacturing team of ~90, guiding daily output and lean execution.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, QA and Planning on parts and quality issues.
• Drive cost control, safety, and on-time delivery through lean methods.
• Coach supervisors and peers, monitor performance against goals.
