Job summary

Gosnaphop is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Tulsa to optimize assembly processes, lead PFMEA activities, and drive continuous improvement in production. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, documentation validation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, QA, and vendors.

The candidate will utilize Lean/Six Sigma, read electrical schematics, and develop fixtures and test equipment to support new product releases and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a machinery manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on machine assembly experience with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs and electromechanical systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or 3+ years of practical Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflow, equipment layout, and production efficiency using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Validate BOMs, work instructions, assembly drawings, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Develop and update work instructions, fixtures, jigs, and test equipment.
• Support machine assembly, troubleshooting, engineering changes, and new machine production releases.
• Translate 3D models and detailed drawings into manufacturing processes, including identification of critical-to-quality requirements.
• Participate in DFMEA/DFA reviews and lead PFMEA activities for new products and significant design changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, production, and vendors on process improvements and equipment development.
• Use problem-solving methodologies such as 8D to identify root causes and resolve production issues.
