Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
Critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills required.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Review production schedules, engineering specs, process flows and work instructions to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
Determine how to manufacture parts and products with maximum efficiency and quality.
Work with manufacturing, quality, and development engineers to identify equipment and process improvement opportunities.
Identify opportunities for improvement in layout of equipment and workspace.
Execute time studies, identifying value/non-value-added activities during study.
Present findings and propose improvement plans.
