Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably involving sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
• Strong proficiency in lean principles and process optimization.
• Software proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite; Autodesk Inventor; CNC programming experience (turret punch presses and fiber optic laser).
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Project management, leadership, and communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workforce utilization, space constraints, and workflow to identify daily optimization opportunities.
• Review work instructions, documentation, and engineering releases to ensure accuracy before production.
• Coordinate with plant supervisors on daily production priorities and process issues.
• Lead weekly Kaizen events with cross-functional teams and document improvements.
• Update ISO procedures, work instructions, and process documentation monthly.
• Support long-term capacity planning and equipment optimization initiatives.
