Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the United States to optimize manufacturing processes, design plant layouts, and drive continuous improvement. The role includes planning, budgeting, and supporting production with Lean practices, CAD tooling, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a low-volume/high-variation environment, strong communication, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with low volume/high variation manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tools and equipment options to reduce operation cost.
• Approve investments in machinery to improve manufacturing/assembly operations.
• Design fixtures/tools and produce engineering drawings.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and pull systems.
• Provide manufacturing technical support and troubleshoot processes.
