Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean processes and assembly to TAKT time.
• Knowledge of bench build layout based on lean methodologies.
• Ability to generate sequence of operations.
• Monitor process and identify standard hours.
• Identify opportunities to reduce assembly time while preventing quality issues.
• Ability to generate project plans and recovery strategies.
• Ability to generate method instructions.
• Ability to train technicians and validate on assembly & test processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document lean assembly processes with sequence of operation, standard times, material layout, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with suppliers for test equipment to test products assembled on the bench.
• Qualify the test process with the supplier to ensure robust testing and zero quality escapes.
• Document the complete test process.
• Train technicians on assembly and test processes and validate their competency.
