Job summary

LHH in Milwaukee is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on the shop floor and loves making measurable improvements. You’ll work closely with plant leadership and production teams to drive efficiency, reduce waste, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

If you have a bachelor’s in engineering and 2+ years in manufacturing or CI, with Lean exposure (Green Belt a plus), you’ll fit in.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing/CI exposure preferred.
  • Green Belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Improve efficiency and reduce waste on the manufacturing floor.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and production teams.
  • Analyze processes to optimize workflows and labor utilization.

I'm partnering with a desirable manufacturer in the Milwaukee area to identify a Lean Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor and making a visible impact on operations.

This is not a desk engineering role. You'll work closely with plant leadership and production teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility. Candidates with manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, continuous improvement, process engineering, or Lean backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

  • Process improvement and workflow optimization

  • Labor utilization and operational efficiency improvements
  • Manufacturing process flow analysis
  • Cross‑functional collaboration with production and leadership teams
