Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Ohio is seeking an Area Coordinator to lead a production team, drive safety, quality, and performance targets, and coordinate daily activities with scheduling and standard work.

You will coach operators, ensure 5S, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement using WCM/lean tools across the line. High School Diploma and 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of team leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong knowledge of WCM, safety, and quality processes.
• Proven ability to lead and coach operators to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support an assigned group of associates to ensure safe, efficient daily operations.
• Assign associates to job stations daily based on skill, production needs, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet KPIs, targets, and deadlines.
• Maintain production records and assist with reporting on metrics, performance, and efficiency.
