Job summary

Austin Industrial in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Maintenance Documentation Specialist to support TPM and LEAN practices, SAP-based maintenance documentation, and SOPs. The candidate will develop and implement maintenance packages, work instructions, safety analyses, and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities include handling operator manuals, PM plans in SAP, creating LOTO docs, and coordinating with subcontractors. A technical background and readiness to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four to five years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Needs little supervision, can work in multiple trades alone, is adept at training others.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

Familiarity with JIT, LEAN, TPM, Six-S, and six-sigma philosophies and practices.
Work with other sub-contractors and equipment owners to accomplish assigned projects and tasks.
Work with operator manuals, prints, procedures, and personnel in the search required information.
Create LOTO documents, PM task lists and PM Plans within SAP.
Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.
