**Job Description Summary**

The Flight Deck Lean Leader plays an integral role in executing the Company’s priorities and lean transformation. The Flight Deck Leader is a project manager, liaison, lean technician, and lean coach responsible for executing the company's highest priorities. This position requires a toolbox of project management, lean, and facilitation skills to foster a culture of action and continuous improvement. "Flight Deck" refers to our Lean process for GE Aerospace and ERAC.

ERAC, Employers Reassurance Corporation, is a corporate holding of GE Aerospace. We are a reinsurance company supporting long-term care insurance, structured settlements, life insurance, and other insurance products.

This role can be based in the office or remote, within the US.

**Job Description**

**Roles and Responsibilities**

+ Support and collaborate with the Leader of Strategy and Execution and leadership to:

+ Partner with teams to execute key strategies and initiatives with a bias towards action and a lean mindset;

+ Support the development and implementation of procedures, policies, and strategies to ensure consistency and standardization of a company-wide LEAN program;

+ Serve as a facilitator, educator, advocate, and consultant for Lean, promoting understanding and application of Lean principles and tools across the business. This includes:

+ Collaborating with functional teams to develop a lean culture and drive continuous improvement aligned with company priorities;

+ Applying lean tools in managing and executing key initiatives;

+ Encouraging learning, innovation, and risk-taking for continuous improvement;

+ Demonstrating project management principles and lean principles as a role model;

+ Maintaining proficiency in latest Lean approaches through networking, participation in GE Lean organizations, and external conferences;

**Required Qualifications**

+ 5 years of experience in solving problems and transforming business performance using project management and Lean techniques;

+ Certified Lean practitioner capable of facilitating problem-solving events and coaching core tools like Daily Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Process Improvement;

+ Experienced project manager familiar with agile and other methodologies supporting project execution;

+ Proven effectiveness in driving outcomes, accountability, trustworthiness, credibility, and adaptability;

+ A change agent demonstrating the value of lean and fostering cultural change;

+ Highly collaborative, comfortable with constructive conflict and debate;

+ Critical thinker capable of aligning conflicting priorities and bringing others along.

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Experience navigating organizational change and challenging situations, with a winning influence;

+ Strategic yet hands-on approach;

+ Skilled in coaching and working in fast-paced environments;

+ Experience in financial services and insurance sectors;

+ Ability to see both the big picture and details;

+ Proven ability to bring order and structure.

The salary range for this position is $113,200 to $151,000 annually, influenced by experience, education, and skills. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or commission, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, tuition and adoption assistance, paid parental leave, disability and life insurance, and paid time off.
