Job summary

Inteva Products is seeking a Technical Center Resident Industrial Engineer to support North American manufacturing sites in Vandalia, Ohio. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, cost estimation, and efficient material flow across production lines.

You will lead workshops, design and install assembly equipment and fixtures, train staff during start-up, and drive cost-saving projects regionally. Travel to sites is required as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing system design workshops and document savings or improvements from the workshop.
• Estimate labor, assembly fixtures cost, material movement cost and material presentation costs.
• Design, quote and build assembly equipment, material movement and material presentation for production.
• Install assembly fixtures, material movement carts and material presentation at or below the award of business pricing.
• Develop lean layouts and material flow for efficient operations. Develop operator instructions for assigned programs.
• Train production employees for start-up and ramp-up.
• Support the assigned PDT to drive lean processes.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments of the manufacturing process including material movement.
• Support North American plants in their cost savings projects.
• Business Travel Mandatory to support North American sites.
