Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing operations, facility layouts and production systems.
• Hands-on labor studies, capacity planning, and work cell design.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Value Stream Mapping knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve workflows, production processes, and work cell configurations to increase efficiency and throughput.
• Design and optimize floor layouts, equipment placement, and workspaces to support material and personnel flow.
• Evaluate staffing, capacity, and production targets to meet objectives.
• Lead facility and work cell improvement projects to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Develop process documentation, standard work procedures, and workflow maps.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, and labor studies for continuous optimization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and engineering teams to improve operations.
• Partner with design and planning teams to ensure layouts meet current and future needs.
• Evaluate equipment and material handling solutions for efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with suppliers on equipment specs, capabilities, and installation.
• Analyze production metrics to identify cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Estimate capacity, labor, and implementation costs to justify projects.
