Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a Set Up & Operate Machines - Forge role within its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will operate forging equipment, set up and adjust machines, and perform quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish across produced parts.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and familiarity with Genie Boom equipment. Safety and Lean practices are emphasized in daily tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging machines, presses and related equipment.
• Visually inspect parts for rust and dimensional conformance.
• Set up equipment for processing parts as required.
• Adjust equipment for processing parts and conduct quality checks.
• Perform autonomous maintenance and follow standard work instructions.
• Complete operator paperwork, GQS and changeovers as required.
• Load equipment and drive Genie Boom as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and report issues promptly.
