Job summary

Fabco is seeking a Lean Facilitator to lead continuous improvement efforts in our manufacturing network. You will drive kaizen events, develop lean training, and ensure sustained 5S and Visual Factory performance across locations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating improvements, presenting outcomes, and promoting a culture of problem-solving and standardization. This role requires strong Lean expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading lean improvement programs in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to facilitate kaizen events and train staff in lean methods.
  • Ability to establish and sustain 5S and Visual Factory practices across locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate lean kaizen events to drive process improvements.
  • Prepare and present report-outs at the conclusion of kaizen events.
  • Develop and conduct lean training programs for staff.
  • Ensure audit processes sustain 5S and Visual Factory performance.
  • Collaborate with lean facilitators to standardize practices across locations.
  • Work with manufacturing stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to setting lean goals and directions.
  • Educate personnel on recommended lean approaches and expected improvements.
  • Develop and implement problem-solving methodologies.
  • Promote a manufacturing cell-based environment.
  • Engage in industry activities to benchmark best practices.
  • Maintain a respectful, professional work environment.
  • Ensure internal controls and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Establish and adhere to policies for quality, EHS programs.
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Responsible for leading and supporting continuous improvement activities using lean concepts and tools. Activities include identifying opportunities for improvement, facilitating kaizen events, coordinating and providing lean training, tracking results and following up to ensure improvements have been sustained.

Salary- $78,000.00 Non Exempt

Responsibilities
  1. 1. Lead and facilitate lean kaizen events.
  2. 2. Prepare and present report-outs at the conclusion of kaizen events.
  3. 3. Develop and conduct lean training programs.
  4. 4. Ensure audit processes are in place to sustain 5S and Visual Factory performance.
  5. 5. Work closely with other lean facilitators to ensure standardization of lean initiatives and practices is attained and best practices are implemented in all locations.
  6. 6. Work with all related process stakeholders in all manufacturing facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  7. 7. Provide input into setting lean goals and direction.
  8. 8. Educate personnel on recommended lean approaches and explain the expected improvements.
  9. 9. Develop and implement appropriate problem-solving methodology and practices.
  10. 10. Promote and encourage a manufacturing cell-based environment.
  11. 11. Participate in manufacturing association activities to learn and benchmark best practices from other companies
  12. 12. Maintain a respectful, professional work environment with a focus on making Fabco a great place to work.
  13. 13 Responsible to ensure all controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under their area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the internal controls over financial reporting.
  14. 14. Ensure policies and processes are established and adhered to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met including organizational quality, environmental, health & safety programs.
  15. 15. Other duties as assigned, including special projects, promote continuous improvement culture by engaging frontline teams in problem-solving and idea generation.

Maintain leading-edge knowledge of lean processes and tools, including 5S, Visual Factory, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Value Graphs, Standardized Work, Cycle Time Reduction and Set-up Time Reduction.
