Munters is seeking a skilled carpenter/fabricator to build jigs, carts and crates in a production shop. You will read dimensioned sketches, select materials and fasteners, and fabricate fixtures to support takt-time manufacturing.

Responsibilities include measuring, assembling line-side kits, and ensuring proper fit and alignment. Safety, quality, and on-time delivery are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on carpentry skills with accurate layout, cutting, joinery, fastening and assembly.
• Able to build a square, repeatable fixture from a dimensioned sketch.
• Broad practical repair and fabrication skills; diagnose a poor fit, worn hardware or damaged joint and make a durable repair.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate priorities with production leads and explain safe setup and use to operators.
• 5S: Set up and maintain labeled locations for tools and materials so operators can see what belongs at each station and what is missing.

Responsabilités

• Observe work at the station and identify time losses and delays.
• Measure parts and read drawings, prepare cut lists, and select materials.
• Build and repair jigs, drill templates, fixtures, benches and tool boards.
• Check fit and alignment against drawings using a representative part.
• Fabricate crates, skids, blocking and bracing per packing specs.
• Use saws, drills, routers, clamps and measuring tools safely.
• Trial builds with operators and adjust designs based on feedback.
• Record final dimensions and materials for reproduce-ability.
