Job summary

Omega Engineering Inc. is seeking a Lean Engineer to drive waste elimination and lean transformation across manufacturing and transactional processes.

This role partners with Production and other functions to align with the annual lean transformation plan and deploy lean tools for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation. The position involves leading kaizen activities, implementing standardized work and value stream mapping, and developing a bench of lean experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of lean fundamentals and production balancing desired.

Responsibilities

• Supports site lean initiatives and aligns activities with strategic objectives.
• Develops and implements lean principles to enhance facility effectiveness.
• Prioritizes improvements based on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Growth.
