Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, or related field.
  • 2+ years in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or related manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools including 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, VSM, Visual Management, RCA, waste reduction.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable improvements and lead projects in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Lean Manager and teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead Kaizen events, problem-solving, and process improvements to cut waste.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
  • Develop standardized work, visual management, and 5S across the facility.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance to optimize workflows.
  • Track progress and KPIs to ensure sustainable results.
  • Coach employees in Lean thinking and practical problem-solving.

## Lean EngineerApply: Findlay, OH: Full time: Posted Today: R\\_00107025**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!**# Responsibilities:* Partner with the Lean Manager and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.* Lead and support Kaizen events, problem-solving activities, and process improvement projects that eliminate waste and improve operational efficiency.* Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, uncover improvement opportunities, and support data-driven decision making.* Develop and maintain standardized work, visual management systems, and 5S practices that improve consistency and performance across the facility.* Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize workflows, reduce downtime, and improve process capability.* Track improvement project progress, action items, and key performance metrics to ensure initiatives deliver measurable and sustainable results.* Coach and engage employees at all levels in Lean thinking, continuous improvement principles, and practical problem-solving techniques.# Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.* Two or more years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Quality, or a related manufacturing environment.* Working knowledge of Lean principles and tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Waste Reduction.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.* Experience leading projects, facilitating teams, or driving process improvements in a manufacturing environment.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus but not required.
