Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics Alabama is seeking a Lean Manager to plan, oversee, and coordinate Engineering, Maintenance and Innovations activities aligned with customer requirements and safety standards.

The role emphasizes developing layouts, optimizing material and information flows, and implementing warehouse strategies, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives to drive robust processes. You will lead projects, coach leadership, and measure KPI progress across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Lean management experience of at least 2 years.
• Experience in engineering or logistics process planning (5 years).
• Experience leading teams (2+ years).
• Budgeting and administration experience (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate activities in Engineering, Maintenance and Innovations.
• Develop layouts, material and information flows to meet customer requirements.
• Lead lean initiatives, Kaizen, and internal Lean systems.
• Coordinate projects and direct the integration of technical activities.
• Monitor and report KPI metrics and training goals.
