Job summary

Woodward, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a WBS Coach I to support Lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement. You will assist with Kaizen events, apply foundational Lean tools, map processes, and help establish daily management systems with clear metrics.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Lean tools (5S, visual management, standardized work, daily management) required.
• Strong problem-solving foundations (root cause analysis, PDCA) expected.
• Ability to map processes and identify inefficiencies; collect and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Lean projects and workshops under coach guidance.
• Facilitate basic Lean tools and apply standardized work and visual management.
• Participate in Kaizen events with data collection and process mapping.
• Support daily management systems with huddle boards and metrics tracking.
• Assist leaders in applying structured problem-solving techniques (root cause analysis, PDCA).
