Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Aerosols and Liquids Operator to join our production team. You will support lines with non-finished goods, troubleshoot equipment issues, and drive uptime and quality improvements on back shifts.

The role requires Lean thinking, problem solving, and teamwork in a safe manufacturing environment. You will interact with cross-functional teams, participate in autonomous production teams, and support audits while maintaining standard work and procedures.

Qualifications

• Math and measurement skills are required.
• Knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment principles is required.
• Ability to work in a team and troubleshoot effectively.
• Lean manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supply line or lines with non-finished goods from staging area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process/equipment issues.
• Maximize uptime and reduce scrap.
• Maintain and improve quality standards.
• Apply root cause analysis methods.
• Identify wastes and eliminate losses.
• Perform quick changeovers and reduce changeover time.
• Support audits (GMP, SQA, ISO, SEA, housekeeping, etc.).
• Use Lean principles to improve performance.
• Complete required training within the timeframe.
• Analyze data to determine next steps.
• Capable of minor machine adjustments.
