Job summary

PCC Airfoils – Ceramics in Wickliffe, OH is seeking a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering to assist with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. You will support engineering studies, 6S audits, and data-driven process improvements during a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and 6S methodology.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational studies and engineering analysis.
• Assist in lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement implementation.
• Conduct and participate in 6S audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for projects.
• Analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop 6S solutions.
• Collect and analyze data related to 6S implementation to track progress.
• Assist in other lean projects including root cause analysis.
• Utilize lean methods to cut waste and movement in key operations.
• Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
