Job summary

Metraflex Company Inc. is seeking a Leak Tester to verify product integrity before painting and shipping. This role involves using water and compressed air for testing, regulating pressure, and handling pipe fittings with attention to detail to ensure quality.

The employee will work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and contribute to root-cause analysis while performing duties safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues.
• Detail oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Test all products for leaks.
• Use compressed air and water for testing.
• Regulate compressed air to a minimum of 40 psi.
• Properly use pipe fittings for testing.
• Looks into recurring issues to help determine root cause.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview: The Leak Tester is responsible for testing our product for leaks prior to painting and, sequentially, shipping.
