Position Overview

TEAM is seeking an individual who is technically capable and safety-focused to assist, learn, and perform Leak Repair Services. As a LI Technician you will assist senior level technicians with various repairs and work scopes. You will attend Leak Repair Training with a view to progressing a career in Leak Repair Services.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
  • Responsible for assessing leaking component(s) and reporting findings to supervisory personnel and engineering.
  • Support the execution of leak repair operations in accordance with technician certification following company processes and procedures, achieving or exceeding quality expectations. This includes techniques such as:
    • Drill and tap
    • Wire and band
    • Clamp and enclosure installation
    • Measuring components
    • Stand‑by operations
    • Inspections of components
    • Evaluation of performance on repair activities
  • Attend and complete the required training to maintain competence and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
  • Document all service activities as required.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a standard refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells except when performing non‑field duties.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, to conduct investigations.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform routine office duties.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off‑site locations.
  • Ability to maintain focus and multitask with effective communication skills.
Work Conditions
  • Position based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • May be at more than one job site in a day and must tolerate climate changes.
  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical school, industry or relevant training preferred.
  • One or more years of experience is preferred.
  • Driving license, TWIC Card preferred.
