Job summary

AMETEK Inc. in Houston is seeking a Production Technician to design, assemble, calibrate, test, and audit Uson leak test products on the production floor, ensuring work is performed to specifications, drawings, and procedures within budget and on time.

You'll maintain ISO-9001 and EHS compliance, document hours and parts, troubleshoot issues, travel to customer sites as needed, and contribute to continuous improvement. This is a temporary-to-permanent, on-site role with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• 8+ years in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Proficient with hand tools; soldering certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, calibrate, test and audit Uson leak test products within budgeted hours.
• Verify conformance to product specifications and audit outcomes.
• Troubleshoot on the production floor and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of hours, BOM/parts used, production data.
• Ensure calibrated instruments and tools are used consistently.
• Comply with ISO-9001, EHS regs, and quality policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized production area.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
