Job summary

Heath Consultants Incorporated is seeking a Leak Survey Field Technician to inspect natural gas systems, detect leaks with advanced equipment, and ensure compliance with safety rules. Entry-level, full-time position with paid training and industry certifications.

You will work outdoors, walk several miles daily, and lift light–moderate loads while following safety protocols. The role supports public safety and environmental protection in the communities served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift heavy items.
• Walk 4–7 miles per day in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect natural gas distribution systems.
• Conduct leak surveys using specialized detection equipment.
• Document findings and complete compliance reports.
• Follow strict safety protocols and federal/local regulations.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and the public.
