The University of Georgia is seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to help with leaf phenotyping and data management in the Warnell-Research department in Athens, GA. You will assist with measuring leaf traits, organizing samples, and maintaining accurate records of collection and processing.

Applicants should be Forestry or biology students, with training provided as needed. This is a part-time, non-exempt student position with hands-on experience in forest genetics and laboratory

Qualifications

• Forestry or biology student; basic lab skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Measure and phenotype leaf samples, including basic leaf traits.
• Organize, label, and properly store leaf and other plant samples.
• Maintain accurate records of newly collected and processed samples.
