Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a working lead to oversee cylinder processing and production output for a shift. You will directly supervise associates, ensure safety codes and PPE policies are followed, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, quality control, and achieving daily production goals while maintaining high safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years supervisory/lead experience in a manufactory industry or related industry.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Ability to perform physical lifting of cylinders up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Involved in all aspects of production including sorting, inspecting, cleaning, labeling, and refilling cylinders.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and PPE policies.
• Pre-train new personnel and monitor workflow in the production center.
• Maintain consistent quality of cylinders processed.
• Ensure daily cylinder production targets are met for distribution and shipment.
• Collaborate with employees to achieve production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
