Hertz Local Edition in Toledo is seeking a Manager Trainee to join our branch team. You’ll learn to run a rental location, deliver excellent customer experiences, and support day-to-day operations as you prepare for promotion to Branch Manager within 12–18 months.

The position offers hands-on training, performance-based incentives, and opportunities to advance into leadership roles at Hertz. A valid driver’s license and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and applying effective sales techniques.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by helping customers through the rental process and resolving questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle preparation, lot organization, documentation, and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication, performance coaching, and business metrics.
• Build the skills needed to grow into future leadership opportunities within Hertz.
