Job summary

The Walsh Group in Louisiana is offering internships across our region to help you develop leadership skills for on-site and office roles. Interns gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, with opportunities to travel across the United States.

Interns will support project managers, assist in estimating change orders, coordinate subcontractors, and participate in team meetings while learning about multiple career paths within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to work a 12-week schedule is preferred.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimating cost for change orders.
• Soliciting bidders and coordinating subcontractor activity.
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participation in team meetings.
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders.
