Job summary

The Sustain Penn State internship at Penn State University supports the UMLTP by coordinating leadership development and mentorship training for undergraduates. The intern will assist with mentor recruitment, workshop planning, and program communications while gaining exposure to sustainability topics.

Applicants should be team players with strong communication and organizational skills, and an interest in mentorship and youth education.

Qualifications

• Strong written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple information sources and stay organized.
• Interest in sustainability, mentorship/leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Undergraduate Mentor Leadership Training Program (UMLTP).
• Assist with mentor recruitment and engagement.
• Plan workshops and Reflection Circles; manage program communications.
• Track mentor participation, attendance, feedback and progress.
• Support the EnvironMentors team and contribute ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
