Job summary

The Walsh Group North Texas Region is hiring Interns to build leadership experience on jobsites or in offices. The internship spans a 12-week schedule and offers exposure to project engineering, field management, and preconstruction activities across our estimating and planning divisions.

Interns may travel across the United States and be matched to roles aligning with their academic goals, with a path toward full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work a 12-week work schedule preferred.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Write RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders.
